The Challenge at Manele golf course sprawls across ancient lava fields, with ocean panoramas from every hole. Jack Nicklaus designed this 7,039–yard, par 72 championship course. Course Length (all Par 72) 5,024 yards from red tees 5,874 yards from white tees 6,310 yards from blue tees 6,684 yards from gold tees 7,039 yards from black tees Standard golf attire for men and ladies: Collared shirts, slacks (no jeans), or shorts (not over 1" above knee). Metal spikes are not allowed. ----- THE EXPERIENCE AT KOELE GOLF COURSE Located on 163 acres in a forest at 3,000 feet elevation near the Koele Lodge Resort. Designed by Greg Norman. The "signature hole," Number 17, plays from a 250-foot elevated tee to a fairway bordered by a lake along its right side, with trees and dense shrubs along its left.
